This permanent part-time role is responsible for crafting and executing awesome content across our digital platforms to enhance the brands exposure, reputation, and engagement within the marketplace of athletes, sporting parents and the broader strength and conditioning & physiotherapy industries.
The primary function of this role is to plan, produce and edit engaging short and long-form content using the resources and talent at our disposal: our own staff, and, your creative storytelling skills.
You'll also help shape the brand identity by playing a pivotal role in updating our marketing assets, so you'll need to be handy as a graphic designer.
Finally, we also need to keep our exercise library maintained -- so you'll be filming new programs every training block and uploading them to YouTube so our athletes anywhere around the world can know what they're doing.

You could join the circus as a juggling artist, because you don't crumble under the challenges of handling multiple things going at once. You might have a testimonial shoot planned in the morning, short-form content to do in the arvo and uploads to manage during the day. You can roll with it and it doesn't freak you out.

You find solutions to problems, rather than problems with solutions. You recognise that there are always challenges in content creation (from storyboarding all the way through to posting), but find joy and satisfaction in overcoming them. You approach these challenges with an open-mind and are open to feedback from the rest of the team who might have a different perspective to you.

Maintain a focus on results while juggling multiple concurrent marketing initiatives and responsibilities across a varied suite of products.
As our one and only content creator, your accountabilities can be summarised below:
Work directly with the sales and marketing director to produce the right content, at the right time, for the right audience.
Coordinate the coaching and physiotherapy staff to assist in creating engaging content by leveraging their insights and expertise. You'll follow them around, capturing what makes them great for the whole world to see.
Work alongside our director of performance to edit and upload our podcast.
Grow our digital platforms in both engagement rate and total follower count by creating content that moons.
Capture the day-to-day storytelling moments in the gym and at our events.

Content Output
You'll be measuring the amount of content you can produce per week across all platforms and be able to strike the balance between quantity and quality.

Brand Engagement
Quality will be kept front and centre by tracking engagement -- shares, comments, and saves. If the content isn't hitting metrics you're happy with, you'll pivot without a second thought.

Staff Satisfaction
At the heart of our brand is the coaching and physio staff; you're in this role to help show the world just how good they are. If you're making content creation easy for the rest of the team, they'll love you, and that's a big win in our books.
We expect and estimate that your runway to KPI will be approximately six weeks. During this time, we'd expect you to be testing out new ideas, getting in your rhythm, and learning the ropes. During this period, you'll also get insane amounts of content and marketing training from some of the most trusted internet courses.
Proven track-record of great content that you can showcase in your portfolio.
High levels of experience within the field of sports performance
Excellent scripting and storytelling capabilities
Highly skilled with on-platform editing on IG/Tik Tok as well as Davinci/FinalCut/Premiere Pro.
Starting from $80,000 (variable based on experience and capability) pro rata'd.
10% bonus for KPI achievement.
