"As an AFL man first and foremost,  we couldn't be more excited to be involved with a club with so much heritage. We're looking forward to helping take the men's and women's physical preparation to a new level" said Lachlan Wilmot, head of performance at Athletes Authority and previously at the GWS Giants. "Playing AFL is one of those sports where you need to be great at everything. You need to be fit, fast, physical and agile and of course, skilful. Having the right strength and conditioning program is paramount to extracting a footballers full potential."

Athletes Authority has already been working with NS Bombers athletes individually, including Locky Pryor, Jack Stokes (Div II) and Nicola Barr (Prems).

Locky Pryor, who is now head of the women's program at the Bombers, had this to say about the announcement:

"Can't rate [Athletes Authority] high enough; their professionalism and the great culture that is shared throughout all their coaches is second to none." As an athlete himself, Locky used the services of the team to rehab his own injuries, and is now performing at a high standard again.

Nicola Barr, AFLW player and Prem Bombers starter, also sung high praises of the signing:

"Athletes Authority has given me really specific strength and conditioning and has meant that I've been able to rehab my hamstring really well with the help of professionals who are great at what they do. It's exciting that North Shore is partnering with AA;  it is going to be a huge help for the club to get a high standard of strength and conditioning."

Preseason for the Bombers squads should commence by December. Keep an eye-out for on their respective IG's for regular updates.
